Overview

This policy explains how ProKit: Barometer & Tools (“ProKit”, “the app”) handles information. The app provides sensor, measurement, QR, NFC, weather and utility features. You can contact the developer at profesyonel86@gmail.com.

Information used by app features

When you choose a feature, the app may request access to device capabilities needed to provide it:

• Location for altitude, weather and location-based tools.
• Camera and flashlight for QR scanning, light-related tools and heart-rate estimation.
• Microphone for sound-level measurements.
• NFC for reading and writing compatible NFC tags.
• Motion, pressure, compass and other available sensors for measurement tools.

You control these permissions in iOS Settings. Measurement histories and preferences are generally stored locally on your device unless a feature clearly indicates otherwise.

Analytics and notifications

ProKit uses Google Firebase services for app analytics and notification delivery. These services may process app interaction events, device and app information, diagnostics, identifiers and notification tokens according to Google’s terms and privacy practices. This information helps understand app usage, maintain reliability and deliver notifications.

Third-party services

Some features may send the minimum information necessary to service providers, such as Apple WeatherKit for weather requests and Google Firebase for analytics and notifications. Their handling of information is governed by their own privacy policies.

Data sharing and sale

We do not sell your personal information. Information may be processed by the service providers described above, when required to operate the app, comply with law, protect users or enforce legal rights.

Children

The app is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so the issue can be reviewed.

Security and retention

Reasonable safeguards are used, but no electronic transmission or storage method is completely secure. Locally stored information remains until you remove it in the app, clear app data or uninstall the app. Third-party providers apply their own retention periods.
